2011 Leflaive Mâcon-Verzé & 2010 Produttori Nebbiolo
Macon-Verzé lies just south of the Côte Chalonnaise and is the village where the Leflaive family chose to purchase 9.5 hectares of pristinely managed vines, divided into five parcels. We had great success with this wine last year and we predict that the 2011 Domaines Leflaive Mâcon-Verzé will sell out even faster. It shows the rich and luxurious style of a Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet—vanilla, hazelnut, and cream. This wine has good acidity to keep it refreshing, and it is a wine to simply enjoy.

Aldo Vacca is not prone to hype. He is a very understated, precise, and exacting man. So when he says that the 2011 Produttori del Barbaresco Nebbiolo Langhe is “the best vintage we ever made” we take note. We took a position, as a wine with this story behind it tends to vanish. It is due in to the shops in early May, and we recommend requesting a stash now.
